Castleisland Fundraising Branch of the Kerry Hospice Foundation will hold it’s AGM on this Tuesday evening, May 10th. in the River Island Hotel at 7pm and new members are welcome to attend.
After a couple of years of what branch chairman, Jack Shanahan labelled ‘the hiatus’ the branch is back to full tilt and tomorrow evening’s AGM is further evidence of that.
The recent Good Friday morning Hospice Walk had a better turnout than expected and the branch members are putting the call for volunteers out there.
Volunteers Needed and Welcome
All the help they can get will be availed of as they still have some red letter days going back onto the calendar for this year.
There are events like the Sunflower Day in June, the Coffee morning in September and the December church gate collection still to be considered, planned and staffed by volunteers.
