This month’s Padre Pio Devotions in Castleisland will be held on Tuesday, May 17th at 7:30pm and the witness will be delivered by Fr Mossie Brick, PP.

“May is a special month as new life is evidenced everywhere. It is also Mary’s month.

Padre Pio had a deep devotion to Mary and referred to her as his Madonna. He remarked that ‘in May, Mary and himself were always holding hands,’ – meaning the Rosary beads was ever-present.

Padre Pio Birthday in May

Padre Pio celebrated his birthday in May and it’is easy to figure out how Lourdes and San Giovanni are inter-linked.

Both are rich in healing power and frequented by people who need the healing waters of Lourdes and the healing touch of San Giovanni to fix what needs mending.

Live Without a Congregation

The May devotions will be broadcast live without a congregation via parish radio and live-streaming at: www.churchservices.tv/castleisland

Saint Padre Pio’s first-class relic will be on the altar and there will be a virtual blessing with the relic at the end of Mass. It will be an occasion not to be missed.
