Margaret Jones from Currow was last week’s winner of the Castleisland RFC Split the Bucket bank holiday special draw prize of €1,000.
Margaret collected her prize at Saturday’s draw at Den Joe’s on Church Street from draw host Angela O’Connor.
She was accompanied by her nephew and niece Jamie and Kerrie O’Connor.
Angela also picked out this week’s winning envelope belonging to ‘Norma and Bridget’ and it turns out to be recent winner Bridget O’Sullivan from Scartaglen who also Split the Bucket only a few weeks ago for €970 and she did it this time with her sister Norma for the same figure of €970.
The next draw is on the coming Saturday night at Tom McCarthy’s Bar around 9pm.
How to Play Split the Bucket
Split the Bucket draw envelopes are available in shops and pubs throughout this and neighbouring parishes.
You simply put your €2 in the envelope, seal it and sign it and add your telephone number and pop it in the bucket or the club coloured, red and blue stands.
