Kerry College will host an hour-long information session at its state of the art, newly refurbished Beauty Therapy Suite in the E Block of the Clash Road Campus on Thursday, July 7th.
Campus facilities include: bespoke nail bar; treatment rooms; spa area and steam and sauna facilities.
Attendees will have the opportunity to experience the facility first hand and speak to the instructors and teachers who have over 20 years’ experience in the educational sector for beauty therapy. Current course participants will also be in attendance and they will answer questions from those considering signing up for the course. Slots available are from 12pm, 1pm or 2pm.
Internationally Accredited Course

ed course delivers ITEC, CIBTAC and CIDESCO International Diplomas to industry standards and are at the forefront of providing Beauty Therapy training and employment in support of the Kerry Salons and Spas.
Participants on the course have the opportunity to develop their knowledge, skills and attitudes required to work as beauty therapists in a variety of settings.
Impressive Awards List
Some past awards include: CIBTAC International Tutor of the year; Worldskills Beauty Therapy International Medals of excellence; Bronze medal in ChinaSkills Beauty Therapy; CIBTAC international Student of the Year; CIDESCO Best in Country for Makeup Artistry and National Skills winners of the All Ireland Silver Medal of Excellence for Ireland in Beauty Therapy.
This 46-week course is starting on the 12 th of September 2022.
Past graduate Francesca Gerald said that having completed this course, she can say it has equipped her with the knowledge and skills required for working as a beauty therapist in the industry.

Course teacher, Clair Horan said that there is a huge demand for qualified therapists with the additional option of self-employment.
“Opportunities exist in areas like: beauty salons; health farms / leisure centres; cruise liners / in-flight therapist; make-up artist; make-up and skin care consultant; mobile therapist; salon owner; complementary therapist; technical sales representative; franchising, spa industry and Teaching/Training and many more,” Ms. Horan said.
Amazing Tuition on the Course
Another graduate said that as a former beauty therapy student with Kerry College she got amazing tuition on the trainee-ship course.
“I enjoyed learning all the practical elements and especially the anatomy and physiology from the excellent calibre of instructor-ship.
