Joyride Movie Magic
Hope you’re able to get out to the cinema to see Joyride.
I haven’t seen it yet but am told Brosna looks well. Apparently, our parish scene culminates with a view of a giant Baby. No one local, I’m sure!
GAA Action Commences
The junior premiere competition kicks off with Brosna v Ballyduff in Listowel on Wednesday night at 7.30pm.
It’s great to have our teaching fraternity of Ger, Eamon and Amen back in the trenches with us. Never have such tans been seen on a Brosna pitch. Let’s hear it for Style and Substance!
Birthday Girl
Mary Ann Downes celebrated a landmark birthday at the weekend.
Surrounded by family, friends and all her wonderful neighbours, Mary Ann and her daughter Sarah threw a party of unparalleled hospitality. Well, no half-measures in that house – it’s the Downes signature. Happy Birthday, Mary Ann.
Sunshine is Back
Welcome back Summer. Hope everyone is enjoying the heatwave.
Don’t forget to leave a shallow wide dish of fresh water on a wall somewhere for small birds to get their daily drink or bath. They’ll thank you for it.
