Tickets are €10 each with a monster raffle too. It promises to be an unforgettable event. Looking forward to it already.

New Year Unfurling

Here we are again. Another January unfurling slowing, starting off another year.

It can be a time of great anticipation for some people. It can bring uncertainty for those going through significant life changes. Whatever your current situation, you have no ability to look into the future and see how the next 12 months will unfold.

Regardless of your particular circumstances, try to get up each day, focusing on the many good aspects of your life. If you are struggling or overwhelmed, please seek help and solace from friends or professional organisations, to support you as you navigate the difficult times.

And where possible, try to offer a helping hand to anyone who might need it. Let 2023 be a year of doing your imperfect best to be a good citizen of planet earth.

The Stork Has Landed

Congratulations to Flor and Kerrie McAuliffe who welcomed baby Cara recently.

Wishing you all a wonderful 2023 and beyond as the new arrival settles in.

Ring A Ding Ding

Congratulations to Dee McAuliffe on his engagement.

On a recent trip to Mexico, Dee persuaded his girlfriend, the lovely Laura Bruton from Douglas, to join the McAuliffe dynasty.

Wishing both Dee and Laura a wonderful engagement as they prepare for their big day.

Parish Hall Update

The Wednesday night badminton got off to a great start.

Lots of players with abilities from beginner to expert took to the court in the hall. It turned out to be a very nice social gathering too and a welcome feature on these dreary January evenings.
