Mary Horan, Mark Reidy, Carol and Moya Butler are in the throes of organising a Kerry Hospice Foundation fundraising Coffee Morning in Scartaglen on the coming Sunday, April 2nd.
You’ll find them in the Sliabh Luachra Heritage Centre in the village on the day between 9:30am and 1pm.
Mary and a group of friends undertook a similar venture in November 2019 in the period just before Covid 19 took hold of the world and they managed to raise €4,640 on that occasion.
“We’re inviting friends and neighbours from far and near to drop in and share a cup with us and sit down and have a chat.
“We’d like to make it a social occasion in the village and, hopefully, as we thought in 2019, an annual event. We’re looking forward to seeing you all in Scart on Sunday,” said Mary.
