“If you want to become more ‘Tech Savvy’ then join us on May 8th, 15th and 22nd with students from Presentation Secondary School, Castleisland.

They will be on hand to offer their expertise to individuals who would like to learn a little more about smart technology.

“Those who are registering for First Aid and Tech Savvy classes are asked to phone 087 7553066 to book places as both are limited.”

Pottery Taster Session

“And there’s more: Delia O’Donoghue of Delia O’Donoghue Ceramics will join us on May 15th. and 22nd for a ‘pottery taster session.’

Participants will use air dry clay and acrylic paints to design, make and decorate pieces such as tealight holders and sculptural pieces.

While making the pieces, the participants will learn clay hand building practices and techniques and will have items that do not need to be fired so can be taken home as soon as they are made and decorated.

This taster session is funded by Kerry ETB and subject to demand, will result in a six-week class this coming autumn.

For details on how to book this class, please phone 0877 553066. Places are limited.”
