Both Cllr. Fionnán Fitzgerald and Cllr. Charlie Farrelly have sent notification of road-works in the Castleisland town area to commence on July 3rd.

Kerry County Council has scheduled road-resurfacing works on the R577 in Castleisland from Monday, July 3rd to Thursday July 6th inclusive.

The works are due to be carried out on the stretch of Church Street outside Garvey’s Super-Valu and Rhyno Mills and out to the Priests’ Cross.

Traffic regulations will be in operation on the stretch under re-surfacing from early morning until late evening from July 3rd and it’s estimated that the work will be finished on July 6th.

The businesses directly affected have been contacted and the works will be sign-posted well in advance.
