Presentation Castleisland Students Excel in Leaving Cert 2023

Presentation Secondary School Principal Pierce Dargan with high achieving students: Hanna Herlihy, Chloe McCarthy and Ella Walsh. The staff and management of the school wish all their outgoing students well in their futures.

The staff and management of Presentation Secondary School Castleisland would like to congratulate their wonderful Leaving Certificate students of 2023 on their fantastic results recently and now on their offers for college/further education, which they have received on Wednesday, August 30th.

“Our girls were extremely happy with their results and we are so proud of their achievements,” said Leaving Certificate Year Head, Mairéad Lane.

Motivated and Driven

“This Leaving Certificate class was a very motivated and driven group of girls, who worked so hard to achieve high grades and showed nothing but determination and willpower in the last few years to do that.

“This was a group which did not get the chance to sit a Junior Certificate due to Covid-19 and therefore their success is to be admired greatly.

“We will miss their presence in our school but wish them every success in their lives ahead wherever it may lead them,” said Ms. Lane.

Testament to Hard Work

Principal, Pierce Dargan said that the results were exceptional across the board, with 5% – over 600 points, 18% – over 500 points and 58% – over 400 points. This is testament to the hard work shown by this cohort over the past six years. We wish them all the best in their future endeavours,” said Mr. Dargan.
