St. Mary’s Basketball Club’s annual Christmas Blitz will be held in Castleisland over the five days from December 26th to December 30th 2023 inclusive.

This time last year there was a heightened sense of excitement as the evergreen, infinately popular event was about to make a return to the local scene after missing both of the previous two years due to the impositions of the Covid-19 lock-down.
Delighted to be Back
Tournament director, Dónal ‘Duke’ O’Connor said that he was delighted to be back at the planning stages for the 2022 event.
Now, with things back to what we take for normality, the planning is very much up and at it with the focus on the first bounces of the ball early on the morning of St. Stephen’s Day.
