Thursday, September 21st is Bewley’s Big Coffee Morning Social for Hospice.

The annual fundraising event is in its 31st year and is one of the biggest fundraisers for Hospice nationwide.

The Castleisland fundraising branch of Kerry Hospice will host its coffee morning at Upper Main Street in the former Shanahan’s Pharmacy / Shoes 4 You premises and the event will run from 9am to 5pm.

Noreen Cremins will also host a coffee morning on the 21st in Shanahan’s Haven Pharmacy at Garvey’s SuperValu.

Host at Home or at Work

“The local fundraising branch is also inviting people to host an event and this can take place in their own homes or businesses. Coffee and promotional material will be provided,” said branch chairperson, Liz Galwey.

There is flexibility around the home / office events so if the 21st. doesn’t suit the host it can be held on any another morning.

“The branch would be delighted with donations of baking for Thursday 21st and anyone who would like to drop baked goods may do so on the morning of the event,” said Liz.
