“Great to see that Taoiseach Leo Varadkar is drawing attention to Kerry tourism in a way that our own elected reps, including TDs have failed to do properly,” said Glounsharoon and its Kerry Scenic Platform (KSP) champion, Seamus Fleming earlier today.
“Mr. Varadkar is the first to address Kerry access route improvements at such a macro scale,” Seamus continued – as he has done for the past decade or more with relentless energy and passion.

“I have been persistently Emailing all our politicians quietly for yonks now, including Leo, regarding Glounsharoon updates etc.

“The Kerry Scenic Platform Glounsharoon fits perfectly into the vision for tourism improvements regarding what the Taoiseach says:

“Access routes to Kerry are indeed in need of improvement and Glounsharoon should be integrated into any such investment in Kerry tourism – as the KSP Glounsharoon sits at the very Gateway to Kerry at Kerry’s Front Door!!

“We will keep our eyes open!  But great to see Leo sparking the debate ….  Brendan was talking about Farranfore but Leo took it well beyond the Kerry access routes …

“We will get there – only a question of Who and When ! Leo might be the catalyst! said the absolutely tireless Glounsharoon campaigner, Seamus.
