And she’s doing it locally in Hughes’ Bar in Cordal and Amanda and her parents are very grateful to Seán and Moira for giving her the break.
In 2021 Amanda released a song for the charity AsIAm, Ireland’s National Autism Charity, with the help of singer /songwriter Tom Lucy and Lisa Curran of Tralee Vocal Academy.

Dreams Come True

Tom and Lisa made Amanda’s dreams come true in helping to raise much needed funds for the charity.
Amanda has been singing from the early age of six, when she joined the Kerry School of Music where she was taught by Aidan O’Carroll.
In 2018 Amanda was awarded Category VOICE Age Band under 10, which was a big achievement for her thanks to Mr. O’Carroll,
“In 2020 she joined Tralee Vocal Academy with lovely Lisa Curran and from there she has thrived with her singing of modern music which she loves,” said her mom Trisha.

“In 2022 Amanda had the privilege of having singer/songwriter Ger O’Hanlon from Tralee Vocal Academy, and he is teaching her up to this very day.

Inspiration from Many Quarters
“Inspiration comes to Amanda from the music of the likes of: ABBA; Dolly Parton; Lady Gaga, . and from her own singing teacher Ger O’Hanlon who in Amanda’s eyes is one of the greatest of all
“We’re absolutely delighted and would like to say a massive thank you to Sean and Moira Hughes for giving her this opportunity in her own locality.

Busking in Cork, Killarney and Tralee
At the moment Amanda is absolutely loving her busking sessions on the streets of Cork, Killarney and Tralee and she hopes to hit the streets of Galway before Christmas.
Amanda would like to say a massive thank you to everyone who has helped her on her music journey over the last number of years.

She would absolutely love all the support she can get in Hughes Bar in Cordal and Friday night where she intends to sing her heart out for all her friends and neighbours.
