Kerry County Council Notice for Castleisland River Walk Upgrade

A notice from the local Kerry County Council Area Engineer Jimmy O’Leary wishes to advise members of the public that works to upgrade and enhance the Castleisland Town River Walk will commence at 8am on Tuesday, January 2nd 2024.

Phase 1 of the river walk upgrade will be undertaken between the Killarney Road and Barrack Street and will take approximately six weeks to complete.

A full closure of the river walk between the Killarney Road (L-2040) and Barrack Street (L-2035) will be in operation from 8am on Tuesday, January 2nd 2024 to 7pm on Friday, February 16th 2024.

Kerry County Council is upgrading the River Walk in Castleisland and your patience and co-operation will be much appreciated.
