The death has occurred of Sheila Mc Govern, nee O’Connor, Cartron, Templeboy, Co. Sligo and formerly of Mullaghmarkey, Castleisland, Co. Kerry.

Sheila died at Sligo University Hospital, after a short illness on March 27th 2024, in her 96th year. Predeceased by her husband Michael, sons Eamon and Donal, her daughters Sheila and Theresa. Loving mother of Bernie, Kathleen and Anna Marie. Missed by her brother Philip in Cork, sisters-in-law Anne, Betty and Evelyn; sons-in-law Benedict and Tommy; grandchildren Amy, Natasha, Zara, Tara, Grace, Kate, Stephen, Daniel, Aidan Ōg, Conor, Joe; great-grandchildren Ceola, Jodi, Keelan, Sadie, Ōisin, Manasseh; nieces, nephews, many friends and relations all over the world. Safe in the arms of Jesus.

Sheila’s Funeral Arrangements

Reposing at Sweeney’s Funeral Home, Dromore West on March 29th from 6pm – 8pm arriving at the Church of Immaculate Conception, Temple Boy at 8:30 pm.

Funeral Mass in Templeboy Church on Sunday, March 31st, at 10 am. Burial afterward in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Templeboy. Family flowers only, please. Donations, if desired, to North West, Hospice. Funeral Mass can be viewed on churchtv.ie/templeboy/
