The death has occurred of Derry Sheehan, 4 Cloghers Lodge, Tralee, Co. Kerry and formerly of Castleisland and Dripsey, Co. Cork.
Peacefully on April 17th 2024 at University Hospital Kerry in the presence of his family. Sadly missed by his loving family: Ian, Rory and Annette, daughters-in-law Louise and Monique, his grandson Hunter, sisters Sheila and Marian, brother Finbar, ,brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends especially Pamela and Richard Roche. Predeceased by his parents Tim and Mai and his brothers John and Kevin.

Castleisland Desmonds Guard of Honour
Castleisland Desmonds GAA Club will form a guard of honour at Tangney’s Funeral Home tomorrow morning, Saturday at 9:15am .
Derry Sheehan was chairman of the club for a period from the late 1980s and into the 1990s and club members are asked to fall in to the formation as his remains are removed for the journey home to St. Mary’s Church in Berrings. Co, Cork.
Derry’s Funeral Arrangements
Reposing at Tangney’s Funeral Home, Church Street, Castleisland on Friday evening from 6pm to 8pm.
Removal from the funeral home on Saturday morning at 9.30am arriving to St. Mary’s Church, Berrings, Co. Cork for Requiem Mass at 11.30am. Burial afterwards in North Kilmurry Cemetery.
