The death has occurred of Gerard ‘Gerdie’ Murphy, Knockananlig, Castleisland, Co. Kerry and Vincent Murphy’s Sports Shop, Killarney Road, Castleisland, Co. Kerry.

Unexpectedly on April 17th 2024. Predeceased by his mother Mary and his brother Fergal. Sadly missed by his loving and heartbroken wife Joan, his dearly loved father Vincent, brother Rory, brothers-in-law Peadar and Pat, sisters-in-law Mairead and Martina, niece Alanna, nephew Tyler, aunts, uncles, all extended family relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends.

May His Gentle Soul Rest In Peace.

Gerdie’s Funeral Arrangements

Reposing at Tangney’s Funeral Home, Church Street, Castleisland on Sunday evening from 4:30pm to 7pm.

Removal from the funeral home on Monday morning at 10:30am arriving to Castleisland Parish Church for Requiem Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in St. John’s Cemetery, Castleisland.

The Mass will be livestreamed on www.churchservices.tv/castleisland
