The death has occurred of Mary Paddy Fitzgerald née Hurley, Dromulton, Scartaglen, Co. Kerry and formerly of Coolnagearagh, Scartaglen.
Peacefully, on April 22nd 2024, in her 101st year in the wonderful care of the Matron and Staff of the Orchid Unit, Saint Ita’s, Newcastle West and in the presence of her loving family.
Predeceased by her husband Paddy and her siblings; Margaret, Kitty, Jack, Mick, Josie, Ellen and Nora.
Deeply regretted and forever loved by her family: John Joe, Monty, Eileen Gleeson, Cashel; Maria Bridgeman, Shanagolden and Mike, daughters-in-law Sheila Groves, Mary Kearney and Mary Brassil, sons-in-law Billy Gleeson and Mike Bridgeman, grandchildren: Ian, Phelim, Grace, Sinead, Sandra, Ami, Mark, Patrick Fitzgerald, Bríd and Ella Gleeson, James and Aine Bridgeman, their partners, 23 great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, great-grandnephews and great-grandnieces, cousins, kind neighbours and friends.
May she rest in peace.
Mary’s Funeral Arrangements
Mary’s remains reposed in Daly’s Funeral Home, Scartaglen on this Wednesday evening from 6pm until 8pm.
Requiem Mass will take place on Thursday at 12 noon in the Church of Our Lady of Lourdes, Scartaglen. Burial in Scartaglen Cemetery.
