Kilcummin Prevail Over Milltown/Castlemaine In Play-Off

Kilcummin preserved their senior championship status with a three points victory over our own club, Milltown/Castlemaine in the Senior County Championship Relegation Play-off in Castleisland on Sunday afternoon.
Milltown/Castlemaine was very unfortunate to lose Donal Dennehy to injury in the 14th minute. Donal had just scored his side’s first point before he landed awkwardly on his left elbow-sustaining a fracture.
Later in the second half, Paul Carroll had to be replaced after picking up an ankle injury. We wish them both a full and speedy recovery.
Well done to the entire panel as they fought right to the end and to Mike Hickey, Mike Carroll and Timmy Teahan for their commitment and enthusiasm with this team.
