On Sunday, June 16th Currow Cycling Club and Currow Ladies Football Club will come together to host their sixth annual leisure cycle.
The cycle is a perfect ‘warm up’ for the Ring of Kerry Cycle with three course options on the day. They are: one over 20 kilometers; one of 60 kilometers and the longest of 100 kilometers.
Attracting Big Crowds
Each year so far the cycle has attracted big crowds and we are asking cyclists of all abilities to come out and support the clubs this year and be part of a great day out.
The cycle will begin at the Currow Community Centre at 10am with registration from 9.15 am.
Three Course Options
The short course goes to Davy Roche’s Cross, into Castleisland, to Camp Cross, Dysert and back to Currow.
The 60 km course goes via Davy Roche’s Cross, Castleisland, Tralee, Castlemaine, Firies Cross, Ballyfinane, Currans, Farranfore and back to Currow.
The long, 100k course goes to Davy Roche’s Cross, Castleisland, Tralee, Castlemaine, Milltown, Killorglin,The Golden Nugget, Aghadoe, Two Mile School, Firies Cross, Ballyfinane, Currans, Farranfore and back to Currow.
