Today, Friday, June 9th. is the annual Hospice Sunflower Day in Castleisland and volunteers will be collecting in the area. All of the funds collected go directly to the Kerry Hospice Foundation. Treatment figures and statistics released by the Castleisland based addiction treatment centre, Talbot Grove this week show that alcohol continues to be the main drug of addiction in Irish Society.
