In St. Patrick’s Secondary School a number of students are competing in a range of sports outside of football, soccer, basketball and rugby.
One such sport where students are achieving national success is in Taekwondo.
This is a martial art which involves acrobatic kicks and punches. Like all martial arts, Taekwondo isn’t just combat — it’s also an art and a discipline.
Two St. Patrick’s students are competing at national level in this sport in both the sparring and patterns disciplines.
