There was great excitement in St. Stephen’s Park in October 2003 when Castleisland debunantes, Rosie Downey and Liam Cronin travelled by Rolls Royce to the Castleisland Community College debs ball at the Earl of Desmond.,
Family members, neighbours and friends gathered to see them off including : from left: Mary Teresa Cronin, Liz Walmsley, Mary O’Sullivan and Margaret Mitchell.
