Cumann na mBunscol Success for Loughfouder NS​

 

Loughfouder National School football team qualified for the county final of the Allianz Cumann na mBunscol Two Teacher Schools Competition. They defeated Raheen National School in the semi-final at Firies GAA Club grounds on Tuesday. Loughfouder National School had a fantastic win in the semi-final of the two-teacher Cumann na mBunscol competition.

They defeated Raheen National School in the semi final in Firies on Tuesday and will play An Chlochán National School in the final in a couple of weeks time on a date to be set.

Coiste na nÓg Win NK Championship

​Knocknagoshel/Brosna/Duagh U-16s won the North Kerry Championship final defeating Listowel Emmets on Saturday afternoon. Listowel had the better of the first half and led 3-5 to 0-7 at half time.  Knocknagoshel/Brosna/Duagh dominated the second half and scored 2-5 while Listowel’s only score of the half was a late goal from the penalty spot. Final score Knocknagoshel/Brosna/Duagh 2-12 Listowel Emmets 4-5.​

Fixtures​

The North Kerry Championship game between Knocknagoshel and Ballydonoghue has been fixed for Sunday 3rd November at 3pm in Knocknagoshel.​

St. Kierans Bow Out​

St. Kierans lost to South Kerry 0-17 to 1-10 in the quarter final of the county championship.​

Knocknagoshel Clothes Collection

Knocknagoshel GAA Club is holding an ongoing clothes collection to help raise funds for the club. Bags of clothes can be left into the white lorry container near the log cabin at the Football Field.  All types of clothes are accepted as well as shoes, handbags, curtains and towels. Please note that duvets are not accepted.
