Castleisland Camera Club has enjoyed another great year of activity on several fronts.

The year culminated in the presentation of a €300 cheque to Castleisland Day Care Centre.

This was raised by the club’s November 30th. exhibition and sale at the Ivy Leaf Art Centre and in conjunction with local photographic historian, Timothy Murphy and facilitated by director at the centre, Jerome Stack.

Qualifications in Photography

“Our members are taking part in courses to achieve qualifications in photography and we have had photos which won competitions and been featured on TV and in print in the course of the year,” said club PRO, Breda McGaley.

“Our club fundraiser went down a treat and there is another project in the pipeline for next summer! – watch this space for details!

Warmest Christmas Wishes

“The club would like to extend thanks and warmest Christmas wishes to everyone who supported us throughout the year.

“We are looking forward to 2020 and will let people know when our AGM will take place as new members are always welcome,” said Breda.
