Castleisland To Host Rates Revaluation Evening Session

All businesses in Kerry are to have their rates revaluated and the new rates will come into being in 2021.

On November 4th. 2019 the commissioner of valuation, John O’Sullivan, signed a valuation order for the rating authority areas of Clare, Donegal, Galway, Kerry and Mayo County Councils and Galway City Council.

Kerry Chambers as One

In order to inform all businesses of the revaluation process the Kerry chambers, including those in Killarney, Tralee, Castleisland, Listowel, Killorglin, Milltown, Dingle and Kenmare, have come together with the Irish Hotels’ Federation to facilitate two information sessions.

The head of valuations for Ireland and the commissioner of rates, will present the business rates revaluation process, followed by questions and answers at each session.

Evening Session in Castleisland

A daytime session will be held in Killarney and the evening session will be held in Castleisland. These information sessions are open to all businesses the Kerry chambers have advised all their members to attend but booking is essential.
