Hillary’s Junior Cert Results to be Recognised by University of Limerick

Hillary O’Connor is a current Transition Year student in Presentation Castleisland and was one of only 2.5% of those, who sat their Junior Certificate Business Studies exam in June 2019, that received the top grade of a Distinction of 90% or higher in the entire country.

Recognition of Achievement

“In recognition of such an achievement, the Kemmy Business School, in the University of Limerick is awarding those students who received a Distinction in their 2019 Business Studies Junior Certificate Examination, with a ‘Certification of Excellence’ on April 29th in the university at a special ceremony,” said Pierce Dargan, business teacher at The Pres.

Hard Work Paid Off

“The 2019 examination was the first year that the new Junior Cycle Business Studies course was examined, which furthermore highlights what a fantastic achievement this was.

It is a night of celebration with family and friends to recognise the hard work that has paid off over the past few years,” said Mr. Dargan.
