Knocknagoshel GAA Club members would like to sincerely thank everyone who donated so generously to the 200k in a Day fundraiser.
Donations came in from Knocknagoshel, surrounding parishes, throughout Ireland and around the world.
The number and value of donations far exceeded expectation and €5,280 was raised for Knocknagoshel Meals on Wheels.
This will make a huge difference to this service going forward. Thanks to everyone that donated and participated in the event.
Knocknagoshel Meals on Wheels deliver to Knocknagoshel, Lyreacrompane, Duagh, Brosna, Cordal and parts of Abbeyfeale and Castleisland from Monday to Saturday.
A main course is just €5 and a three-course meal is €7. Children’s portions are now available.They also collect and return laundry and deliver groceries and prescriptions.
A phone support service which provides a listening ear and advice for older people is also available.

Knocknagoshel GAA Club members are willing to collect groceries, fuel or prescriptions for anyone self-isolating at this time.

St. Mary’s Reopened for Private Prayer
St. Mary’s Parish Church has reopened for private prayer.
There are hand sanitisers on both sides of the porch, so please use them on entrance and exit.
The weekly leaflet is available at the bottom of the church.
You can hear Sunday mass on Radio Kerry at 10am and from Castleisland at 11.30am on www.churchservices.tv/castleisland
RTÉ News Now will broadcast mass every weekday at 10.30am.
Covid-19 Support Line
ALONE has launched a national support line and additional supports for people who have concerns or are facing difficulties relating to the ongoing Covid-19.
Professional staff are available to answer queries and give advice and reassurance when necessary.
The support line is open Monday to Friday 8am.- 8pm. by calling 0818 222 024.
