GAA Activity Round-Up: There’s been a lot of activity over the past week. Brosna Bs won against Clonmacken on Friday evening at home.
The minors of Brosna, Knocknagoshel and Duagh were out against a very strong Churchill on Saturday afternoon.
Full-time score: Churchill 1-13 to Brosna, Knocknagoshel and Duagh 0-7.
Memorable Display by U-12s
The U-12s put on a memorable display against Desmonds losing by a solitary point. Full-time score: Desmonds 5-12 to Brosna 5-11.
U-8 Team – Honourable Mention
Honourable mentions to the U-8 team members who had a challenge match against Knocknagoshel.
Simon Keane Memorial Win for U-10s
And, last but certainly not least, our U-10s won the Simon Keane Memorial Trophy at Knocknagoshel’s Pattern Day Sports with a dazzling scoreline of 4-12 to Knocknagoshel 2-5.

Congrats to local Students
Congratulations to Ciaran Murphy, Eimear Murphy, Emma Buckley, Kate Sheehan and Liam Connolly who graduated from sixth class in Scoil Mhuire recently.
We wish each of them all the best as they start secondary school in the coming weeks. Congratulations also to Clodagh Brosnan, Ellie Buckley, Harry Connolly and Kaeli Relihan having received their First Holy Communion recently in St. Carthage’s Church.
