Presentation Castleisland Transition Year class group presented a €400 cheque to Juliette O’Connell of Breast Cancer Ireland.

Transition Year students in Presentation Castleisland were delighted to welcome Juliette O’Connell from Breast Cancer Ireland to the school this week.

Vital Research In Ireland

Ms. O’Connell gave an informative presentation on the topic to the group and informed students of the vital research Breast Cancer Ireland are undertaking at present.

The hardworking and generous students fund-raised €400 for this worthy cause through participation in the Virtual VHI Womens Mini Marathon and the raffle of two sports jerseys in October.

Support Appreciation

October is Breast Cancer Awareness month.

The Presentation Castleisland Transition Year class and coordinator Karen O’Connor wish to express a sincere thank you to all in the school and wider Castleisland community for your support.
