Conditions are being forecast as very windy or stormy on Sunday night and Monday due to Storm Debi, accompanied by heavy rain with a chance of embedded thunderstorms and hail.

No Harm to Prepare

Possible impacts: Fallen trees and branches; Localised flooding including wave over-topping; Hazardous travelling conditions.

Even though we rarely get the extremes of these weather warnings here in the Castleisland area, we still know and remember what storms are capable of – and the wind is rising considerably now as I write.  It’s no harm to tie or weigh down anything that’s likely to be blown away in such conditions. And the crows knew there was something in the air judging by their antics all day.
